If You've Ever Wondered What My Hair Looks Like

Caught your attention with that snappy title didn't I?

Well you don't have to wonder anymore.....

I saw this figurine at the thrift store last night and I thought wow! That's what my hair looks like! Ha ha!

Also seen at the thrift last night was this scarry ceramic FAIL! Now don't get me wrong. I have botched a craft or two in my day.
But this is scarry ridiculous. I dont know if this is supposed to be a duck or what. I think it looks like Darth Vader in a bonnet.

Maybe French Country Darth Vader?

Fourth of July at Cotton City

I finally showed some love to my booth at Cotton City. It was badly neglected. I pulled some red, white, and blue items for a patriotic Fourth of July vignette. Truth be told I will leave it until Labor Day.

I did a red, black, and white vignette. I found these awesome ceramic chess pieces at the thrift store.

Iron horse head hitching post cap. It weighs a ton and would definitely break your foot if it was dropped on it.

I hit the Duck Dynasty!

Cute Disney items including most of my curb finds:

Cute black and orange grouping:

Quilted bed jacket:

Vintage advertising canisters:

Summer items on the baker's rack including magnets made from a wood cutout puzzle. That was a Pinterest idea:

Tired, can't give them away strawberry items. I'm so over these things. I've had them in both booths and they.won't.sell. The teapot is McCoy but still no takers.

Hubby sprayed this shelf for me today. This orange is scrumptious. It's Rustoleum orange.

Parisian grouping:

Knickerboxer Raggedy Ann and Andy. Andy looks a little cramped in the corner.

Backside of the patriotic display:

And now the big picture:

Finally, my nephew sent me this picture. This t-shirt is so true!

Shopping with your husband is like hunting with the game warden. Funniest thing I've seen in a while!

Until next time,
Happy Junking!

There Ought Not To Be Clowns

I was on my weekly thrift run last night when I saw this plate. Now I've seen a few collector plates in my junking days but never one like this. This was ONE.SCARRY.PLATE!

I'm sure that the Telephone Pioneer Clowns do a wonderful work. I am in no way disrespecting what they do.

The title on the back if the plate says There Ought To Be Clowns. Um nope. No there shouldn't.

Scarry clowns, scarry nursing home residents. There were two numbered plates for sale. I didn't buy either one.

BOLO - Ralph Lauren Floral Sheets

I remember the first time I heard the term "BOLO."  I had no clue what it meant.  Police lingo.  It means be on lookout.  Well fellow eBayer sellers, be on the lookout for these Ralph Lauren sheets!  This particular pattern is called Beach House.

I found two of these sheets at a church yard sale.  They gave me a lump price of $16.00 for everything I bought that day but I'm figuring I paid $1.00 each.  I auctioned them on eBay and one sold for $92 and the other sold for $76.  Not a bad profit on two used sheets!  I was holding my breath until the buyers received them and left feedback.  I'm happy to say I received positive feedback from both buyers!  So keep your eyes peeled for these.  Right now they are offering a nice return on your investment!

Until next time,
Happy Junking!

Saturday was City Wide Day

Saturday I once again participated in the City Wide Rummage Sale. The weather was forecast to be terrible because of the rain. And....it was! I was afraid that the rain would hurt attendance, but let me tell you, Mobile has some hearty yard sale shoppers! There was a constant stream of shoppers all day long! I unloaded a good bit of stuff, donated some, gave some away and still carried a little back home with me.
Here are some pictures of my setup:

I was in the corner for this sale. I don't know if I had all the traffic I should have, but, all in all it was a successful day.
