Pumpkin Patch

Baby J recently visited a local pumpkin patch. As her onesie confirms, she WAS the cutest pumpkin in the patch.

This is her i'm not interested in pictures anymore face:

And probably my favorite picture of the whole pumpkin patch visit:

She is sitting on her daddy's shoulders and at a distance sees a little girl pulling a red wagon. She is such a happy baby!

Her cousins visited the pumpkin patch earlier in the week:

And finally from Saturday on our weekly Wal-Mart trip:

I managed to squeeze in a church yard sale Saturday morning. I only spent $9.00 for a ton of stuff! My kind of sale. My plan for this week is to work on pricing items to take to the booth. I can't believe Christmas is right around the corner!

Baby J At 6 Months

Baby J turns 6 months old this week. We had a mini photo shoot before we left for church yesterday morning. These pictures were snapped on hubby's iPhone. My sweet angel:

Now for the outtakes. It was all downhill from here:

I love her expression in this picture:

And then in less than a minute she kicked off her shoes and socks! Oh how I love this girl.

Happy half birthday Baby!

Baby J at 5 Months

My sweet baby J has hit the 5 month old mark! I can't believe how quickly time is flying! My baby is growing and changing in so many ways!

Baby J in her headband from Josh and Lindsey:

This headband is huge and off the chain and looks like something from Whoville! But I love it!
Baby J is almost at the point of "sitting up." She can sit up for a few seconds but then topples over.

Her first "big girl" ride in her stroller.

She's quite the diva already!

On boothy/junky related fronts... I had a good month at the ol' antique mall. It's amazing what adding new stock will do for profits! This month is shaping up to be pretty good too. Several big items have already sold:

Nice "bird" beverage set ... Sold.

Canister set also gone. It had been sitting awhile.

Cute cowboy and indian playset flew off the shelf. Then I always second guess myself...did I price it too low?

I have some fall stuff that I would like to get priced and taken to my booth but my schedule now depends on Miss J. And I wouldn't trade that for all the junk in the world!

I'm Back With My Big News

Where do I begin? We have a lot to catching up to do! I got my "big" news in September. I learned, at the "advanced maternal age" of 40, that I was pregnant with my first baby. After 22 years of marriage. We were THRILLED!

Baby J is now 4 and a half months old. She is the joy of our lives! You can expect to see plenty of pictures of my sweet, beautiful baby.

When I found out I was pregnant I decided to give up my Queen's Attic booth. I kept my Cotton City booth even though it was badly neglected for awhile. BUT--I think I've gained my Mama/Junker footing.

When I closed my QA booth I sold all of my inventory and shelving to the store owner. This included my beloved cubby shelf. I hated to leave it but, being pregnant, it was just too overwhelming to try to move it back home. So I did. I left it. About a month ago I learned the Queen's Attic was closing. I contacted the owner and she graciously sold it back to me. Granted I had to pay more for it than I did the first time. But I don't care. It's back where it belongs. With me. It is now situated at Cotton City holding some vintage goodies!

I re-did/ re-stocked my booth this past Friday while hubby kept Baby J. I was very happy with how it turned out.

Duck Dynasty:

Well, we're pretty much up to date on what's been going on with me. How have you been?
